Celebrating National Coffee Day with a Corporate Popup

Corporate Event Popup

A recurring client of mine wanted Doppio to do a 2 hour popup at their headquarters (for the office and manufacturing staff,) in honor of national coffee day! The pop-up was a smash. I was able to setup right at 8 o'clock and was pulling drinks by 8:05am. The staff slowly trickled through the break room. Some employees just wanted their coffee- others wanted to learn about my setup, the beans and local roaster, and enjoy a little break during their work day.

For this event, I kept things simple. I only offered a single origin coffee, two syrups, and normal milk. I served Americanos, Cappuccinos, Lattes, and Cortados. It was really fun being able to make coffee for them. I love being able to engage with employees in this fun way. Events like this every once in a while really change the dynamic of an office.

My real goal in events like this is to channel the Pretzel Day from the Office. If you haven't seen it, its a hilarious scene in the show how something simple can mean a lot to employees.

For this event, I used coffee beans by the Roasterie.

The Roasterie is a Kansas City local coffee roaster that has been around for a long time. When I pick my coffees, I pride myself on curating an experience for my audience. The Roasterie is just a few miles from this customers headquarters, so it was extra fun to share this coffee with them.

What makes my business different from so many other coffee pop-ups is that I don't have a coffee cart. My setup is easily wheeled into any location. I blend right into an office or home environment. Although I don't have a cart, I can still serve high quality drinks fast.
